I am exaggerating here, but its just different than a carb's engine. when running in chop, and coming unhooked the feedback you get from the throttle seems almost like something is wrong sometimes. They are almost like a "fly by wire" feel in my opinion. The DI's run great, but do have a different feel to them as far as feedback/control. the smoothest running 2-stroke, but noisy. Its probably the one thing that bugs me with the ski, but not a whole lot that can be done about it. might be one of the noisiest drivelines I have had in any of my skis so far. its much more noticeable than the GTX with virtually the same drive train. My RXDI has a lot of noticeable pump/driveline noise at idle & even low speed, get under more power & its gone. Having the same ski as you, & owning a few DI's I can mention a few things. Coming here as a hardcore sled guy I shouldn't find an issue. All I have to work on now is getting used to the jetski feel. 951cc certainly has balls to it, which will definitely be good. Sounds like the noise is coming from the pump area. When it isn't, because I didn't bring my radio. When I'm slowly taking off, between 3000ish-4000ish RPM it sounds like my radio is going. I'll eventually get used to it, but I'm a fan of the needle simply because you aren't reading a number, you're reading the approx location of the needle.Īnother thing I thought would be worth mentioning. I miss an analog tach instead of the digital tach. Gauge likes to pop around sometimes though, quite entertaining.
My VTS buttons are quite stiff, anyone know how to make them easier to push? It's not a big problem, it's just I find myself adjusting trim quite a bit (for now). Stupid me.ĭefinitely thinking of opening up the RAVE's a bit when it's choppy, not really liking how at the cruise speed I found perfect for the conditions, the RAVE's were popping open and she was ripping along. talk about excitement! I love it so far, only thing is it didn't take me long to lose my sunglasses (Oakley Flak Jackets). The official Ski-Doo Shop, where that feeling never stops. Finally got out today to ride it.
